Mattycollector just announced that the sale for their re-released DC Universe Wave 5 (AKA Metallo wave) is being moved from May 17th to June 15th.
This is what Mattel had to say:
“DCUC Fans, wanted to let you know that due to a logistics issue, the sale of Wave 5 is moving to our June 15th sale.”
This is probably good news for many as the sale for the much angst wave originally clashed with a very busy May 17th that will see the release of MOTUC’s 12″ Tytus, Optikk, Mer-Man (re-release), Ghostbusters Walter Peck, The Dark Knight’s long awaited Two-Face and the Retro-Action DC Super Heroes Green Arrow figure.
The re-release of DCUC Wave 5 will be identical to the one in 2008 − same package and same decos. Each figure will still come with pieces to build the 9” Collect and Connect Metallo figure.
