I personally liked King Kong. Sure, it could have been an hour shorter and you could have removed the giant bugs and all of Jack Black’s scenes, but the film holds a soft spot for me, even if it’s just for the great work that Andy Serkis did in his first ape-based role.
When a movie is 3 hours and 20 minutes long (extended version), you KNOW there are sins. It’s just a matter of whether or not you’ll kill yourself before you finish finding them. In this case, we live to sin another day.
