Earlier in the week we wrote about Hasbro’s new upcoming marketing for “The Avengers” in which Hasbro would tie in all the different toy lines under the “Avengers” banner. Today, thanks to an eBay seller ehobbybase, we have our first carded look at the new 6″ Iron Man figures.
The first thing you’ll notice is the new card backs, which now says “Iron Man: The Armored Avengers” rather than “Iron Man 2.” In addition is the new “Avengers Assemble” emblem on the top right corner. This new packaging design will replace all future Iron Man toys, as well be a staple for Thor and Captain America related toys.
These new figures will all be in the 6″ scale and be a part of the “Legends Series,” a continuation of Hasbro’s Marvel Legends line.Hasbro has been promising the return of the 6″ Marvel Legends line since San Diego Comic-Con 2009, and fans should expect that to finally come to fruition beginning in 2011 and 2012 beginning with the movie licensed toys.
