It’s April 24th, and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Believe it or not, Hallmark has already released this year’s Keepsake Ornament Dream Book, the Christmas ornament catalog that will define how cool your tree is this holiday season.
This year, Hallmark has released 534 new ornaments that feature just about everything you can imagine, but we have narrowed it down to our favorite 174. There are ornaments for Star Wars, Disney, Marvel, DC, Fortnight, Schitt’s Creek, The Office, Golden Girls, The Witcher, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Game of Thrones, My Hero Academia, Peanuts, Scooby-Doo, The Matrix, Rick and Morty, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Sonic, Super Mario Bros, National Lampoon’s The Muppets, and a lot more. Heck, even Urkel from Family Matters gets an ornament that says “Did I Do That?”
This year, Hallmark has also upped the ante on adding tech to their ornaments. There are animatronic ornaments for Dobby from Harry Potter and Jabba the Hutt. There’s even a two-minute-long animated ornament of the Carbonite Chamber scene from The Empire Strikes Back, complete with Han Solo being lowered into the chamber and coming back out frozen in carbonite.
Here’s the thing. A lot of these ornaments sell out before most collectors even know they exist because a lot of the toy sites don’t cover ornaments. If you want to make sure you get them, you need to set up a wishlist on the Hallmark site or head over to your local Hallmark shop to pick up a Dream Book and fill out your order form. I went to pick up our book this morning and the people at the store told me that some of the ornaments are already getting close to selling out on pre-order. Check out all of our favorites below, and then make sure that you don’t miss out on the chance to hang them on your tree this year.
