In 2012, LEGO will begin rolling out a new product line that will include Lego Friends, a new line of sets aimed girls.
Lego Friends features five female mini figures who are, wait for it… friends. Their occupations include designer, musician, veterinarian and inventor, and they will come with playsets for both home and work.
Noticeably different is that this new line are curvier and less blocky than traditional LEGO people, but they are compatible with LEGO sets and pieces of the past. They are also more pascal shaded in terms of color to give it that stereotypical pink and purple girl look and feel.
