As we speak, MINDstyle is now in the midst of their POP LIFE! exhibition in Beijing and I wish more than anything that I could have been there to cheer them on personally for their biggest milestone yet. Part of the celebration this year includes the announcement and pre-release of their newest collaboration with the Korean artist and toy maker, COOLRAIN. You may recognize his work from MINDstyle’s extremely popular NBA vinyl line. The new line, called Dunkeys, combines the basketball Motif with monkeys in a set of figures that are equally cool and menacing.
The 5″ tall figures are limited to just 500 pcs each worldwide and will run you $40 a piece. The series consists of #23 Pithecuse, #91 Simius and #3 Mono.
If you aren’t lucky enough to be in Beijing for the exhibit, the figures will be officially released on September 29th.
If you are looking for something even more limited, you can also pick up an 18″ tall Dunkey 23. That figure is limited to 300 pcs and will set you back $275.00.
