Big news for the toy industry today. NECA has announced that they are taking control of Kid Robot. Once the biggest name in vinyl toys, Kidrobot struggled in recent years and recently closed all of their brick and mortar stores. A lot of people think that it was their foray into licensing that cost them so much of their business, and it looks like NECA agrees. Along with the announcement comes news that Vinyl Artist Legend, Frank Kozik, will be heading up the new wing of NECA with an eye towards refocusing on art toys.
