I can’t say that I’ve ever really been a reader of Aquaman. My memories of him are mostly based off of episodes of Superfriends from when I was a kid. So, I can’t say that Cthulhu is an actual thing in the DC comics universe or if he’s ever actually gone up against the world’s most famous fish whisperer. That said, QMX has created a Comic Con exclusives that’s so friggin cute that I can’t imagine it not selling out.
This kind of weirdness is what I like to see from Con Exclusives. Paint variants are playing it to safe. Give us something we would never have thought of on our own, so we always remember when and why we grabbed it. I think that’s why my favorite exclusive so far this year has got to be Mattel’s Hot Wheels Spock .
If you can make it to SDCC, you’ll be able to snag this figure for $49.95. If not, you should be able to get one on the QMX site, HERE.
