Jesse Hernandez has been amassing a massive following for years with his unique Urban Aztec style of art. Over the years he’s done everything from his own toys to partnerships with major sports teams, bands, and other massive brands. Well, now Hernandez is teaming up with Sideshow’s Unruly Industries division to create a new line of Urban Aztec statues based on Marvel’s characters.
While most of the line will be unveiled at the Sideshow booth during next week’s Comic-Con, we are getting our first look at the Urban Aztec versions of Iron Man and Wolverine and they look sick as hell.
The idea of bringing marvel and Aztec style art together is brilliant and I’m really looking forward to seeing what they might be able to do with characters like Spider-Man, Thanos, The Punisher and others. In the meantime, you can get your first look below and you can pre-order them for yourself when they go live on July 16th over at Sideshow.
Sideshow’s Unruly Industries presents The Iron Man Designer Toy by Artist Jesse Hernandez. This Marvel Comics inspired piece will be available for Pre-Order Tuesday July 16th, 2019 between Noon and 3pm (Pacific Time). Be sure to catch this piece for your collection as soon as it goes up for pre-order. RSVP in the meantime!
The Marvel line isn’t all that Jesse has lined up with Sideshow. They’ve also partnered up for the Unruly Variant of his Mictlan figure. You can grab that over at Sideshow now for $100.
