One of the biggest panels for collectors each year at Star Wars Celebration is the Hasbro Panel. We’ve got the pics from the booth coming up for you in another post, but this post is just about the reveals from this year’s panel.
The big news for me out of the panel is the SDCC exclusive Grand Admiral Thrawn. This might be one of the most impressive and complete figures that Hasbro has released for their Star Wars line and I am nearly brought to tears by the knowledge that the pics below are the closest that I’ll ever get to holding one in my hands.
Thrawn isn’t the only SDCC exclusive that got revealed this weekend. They also announced the Black Series Luke Skywalker with Landspeeder. The speeder looks great, but I’m honestly not all that impressed with the head sculpt.
Other figures that got announced were the fan figure figure vote for 2016 – Jaina Solo, A gorgeous looking Grand Moff Tarkin (seriously, it looks better than the CGI version from Rogue One), Commander Gree, and thee Inferno Squadron Pilot from Battlefront.
