‘Terminator 6’ Adds ‘Halt And Catch Fire’ Star

No, we aren’t talking about Lee Pace or Scoot McNairy, but we are talking about the biggest stand out from the AMC series about the rise of the internet, Mackenzie Davis. The actress, who played Cameron on the series has been tapped for a key role in the new movie, according to Variety. Sadly, we don’t know what that key role is, but chances are that she’s either a new Terminator, the key to helping with the resistance against Skynet, or maybe John Connor has gone through some changes. After all, it’s not like they are going to trust Edward Furlong with a movie this big.

Davis was just in Bladerunner 2049 and is about to star along Charlize Theron in the upcoming family drama, Tully from Diablo Cody. Deadpool’s Tim Miller is set to direct the new Terminator film when it goes into production this summer with James Cameron production. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton are also both onboard to return for the film that will pick up after the events of Terminator 2: Judgement Day and pretend like none of the other films ever happened.
