THE RAID Sequel Takes Place Two Hours After The First Film

The Raid was one of the big underground hits of 2012. The high impact action film that was shot for only one million dollar took crowds by storm and even inspired a cat-based claymation parody:

Now Gareth Evans is hard at work on the sequel, Berandal (meaning “thug”). He promises a bigger and better picture and that he’s hoping to even bring in in some car chase elements. All that for a still low budget of $3 million.

Now he’s also come out through twitter to say that at least the first scene of the film takes place just two hours after the first film.
