I’ve never been inside a Forever 21, but given that 21 and younger seems to be the age of most social justice warriors, I was a little surprised to hear about the shirt they are selling that says: “Don’t say maybe if you want to say no.”
The Tumblr and Twitter crowd was quick to condemn the shirt, and the mall fashion chain was almost as quick to apologize and pull it from the shelves.
This was the only statement that the company made:
“We sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by the product.”
