Let’s face it, Superheroes are the new Gods, we may as well start looking at them as the religious symbols that they are!
Italian artist Igor Scalisi Palminteri has taken this concept and is fascination with religion and created this new series of sculptures that he calls Hagiographies. All of the statues were purchased in street markets around Palermo Italy and then painted with acrylics to convert them into the heroes that we recognize today.
