Imagine falling asleep in a crowded train with and waking up in a new place, not knowing where you are or how to get home. Now, imagine that this is happening in India, a country with more than a billion people.

That’s what happened to Saroo Munshi Khan. Luckily for him, things turned out better than they could of. He was actually taken in by a nice Australian family who actually kept a map of India on his wall so that he’d always know where he came from.

That alone makes for a great story, but 25 years, the tale took a huge turn. Using the help of Google Maps, Saroo was able to find his home and reunite with his family.
