Last night was the drawing for the $355 million jackpot from Mega Millions sweepstakes, and while there were only two tickets (one from Idaho and another from Washington State) that matched all six numbers, several thousand “Lost” fans won a little something as well.
More than 25,000 Mega Millions players played Hurley’s infamous “cursed” numbers – 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 – in the Mega Millions sweepstakes and were award with a small prize of $150 for being huge “Lost” nerds.
The winning numbers for the lottery were 4, 8, 15, 25, 47, and Mega Ball 42. To win $150, a player would need three of the regular numbers plus the Mega Ball number. For “Lost” fans 4, 8, 15, and 42 were enough to nab them some real greens.
The winning numbers themselves were also eerily similar to Hurley’s numbers having just been off by a few digits.
