New York City, the island that has brought us things like an attempted ban on salt, fat, and large sodas, has also spent millions of dollars on a program to install bikes than anyone can ride around the city. The program, called Citi Bike, has been widely criticised for everything from the fact that the new bike racks are killing parking and making it harder for people to get foot traffic in front of their businesses. However, the only complaint that seems to worry the city officials is that people think the bikes are too clunky.

Their solution? Hire a BMX stunt rider to show people just how versatile the bikes are… Your tax dollars at work.
