My first reaction upon seeing the “Soft Susheam” was to gag uncontrollably for a couple seconds. After that, I realized that this is something that had to be shared with you. The Soft Susheam is a new dish that’s been created in Japan. Thankfully, it does not have actual soft service ice cream in it. It is mostly a traditional sushi served in in an ice cream cone.
That doesn’t make it any better mind you… just not quite as bad. The dish has a scoop of vinegared rice with tuna, corn, and crab sticks mixed in, served in an ice cream cone and covered with so much mayo that I’m starting to gag again. Seriously… look at all that mayonnaise. UGH!
