We’ve been following the trail of strange Back To The Future related viral videos that have been popping up online with Christopher Lloyd reprising his role of Doc Emmett Brown.
Yesterday, producer Frank Marshall added fuel to the fire with this cryptic tweet:
“Something big is coming soon. Can’t say anything yet. No one should know too much about their own destiny. #BTTF”
Late last night, he sent out a tweet with a link to a video that sheds a whole lot of light on the situation:
Hey, it isn’t a hover board or a time traveling car, but power laces are pretty cool! At last, an athletic shoe for people too lazy to use velcro! Nike has had the patent for a self-lacing shoe since 2009, but there had not really been much new about them ever actually happening.
Kevin Durant may have actually teased it not too long ago with a tweet about needing new shoes that ended with: “Think McFly Think.”
