Tony Hawk has been the main name in skateboarding for the last 20 years. He pioneered many of the tricks that make the sport what it is today, but even he couldn’t do what this little kid did the other day.
Evan Doherty, an 8 year old kid, just landed a 720. 900’s and 1080’s might be what bring in the big money at the X games nowadays, but 720’s are such a milestone in skating that the move even had its own video game. Also, the kid is only 8! What the hell were you doing when you were 8? I was digging out little forts in tree stumps for the toads that I would catch. If this kid doesn’t kill himself in the process, he’s on the path to being one of the greats!
