Yesterday, we reported that the Godzilla Reboot was about to get a rewrite care of Frank Darabont. Now we are hearing from Deadline Hollywood that Kick-Ass star, Aaron Johnson, is in talks for the lead role. The good news is that he’s automatically better suited for the film than Matthew Brodderick.
Word is that he’s the odds on favorite for the role, but he doesn’t want to sign on until he sees what Darabont does to the script.
Despite the script delays, the film is still set for a May 16, 2014 release.
