Yesterday, Marvel’s Twitter feed teased a big announcement was on the way this morning. While some people were guessing it would be the first trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, the reality was that this news had nothing to do with the movies.
Earlier today, Marvel announced that they’ll be pairing up with Square Enix for a new video game called ‘The Avengers Project.’
There are currently no details for the game, but we do have this sweet unveil trailer that shows pretty much nothing. From what it shows, I’m guessing that it will involve rebuilding a team to take on a threat that’s pushed the Earth into some post-apocalyptic crisis. I really hope that it’s not just a fighting game and that there’s more to it than that.
