Deadline is reporting that the 1995 science fiction film, 12 Monkeys, will now make an official transition from the big screen to the small as a new TV series set to debut on the network in January of 2015.
In the new show, which has a 12 episode order, the story will follow time traveler Aaron Stanford as he travels back to the present to try and prevent the coming plague that is set to kill the majority of the human population.
