26-year old Amanda Seyfried will take it all off for her role as porn star Linda Lovelace, who rose to fame for her role in “Deep Throat.” And then denounced her pornography career and became a spokeswoman for the anti-pornography movement.
In an interview with E! News, Patrick Muldoon, a producer at the Lovelace production company behind the film says that, “It’s going to be very risque.” Adding that “it’s a new thing for her, but it’s not about nudity.”
“It’s profound, the performance that she’s giving… She’s doing such an amazing job,” says Muldoon. “We’re about two weeks into filming, and the movie’s going to be incredible.”
“Thematically, it’s talking about how abusive the porn industry was to Linda Lovelace. Yes, there’s a lot of nudity, but it’s a message movie about respecting women.”
Joining Seyfried is Demi Moore, who plays feminist icon Gloria Steinem, a social and political activist who became nationally recognized as a leader of, and media spokeswoman for, the women’s liberation movement in the late 1960-70s.
