Brian K. Vaughan’s “Y: The Last Man” is probably one of my favorite comics of all time. When I first heard that they were planning a movie, I was very excited. When I heard that Shia Lebeouf was going to star in it… I was considerably less excited.
I have to say that I was happy that movie never happened, but mainly because of Shia. Now it looks like the film has new life as the studio has hired Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia (Human Target) to start over and try to write up the whole story in one script.
Part of me would love to see the story spread out across a trilogy, but it can be done in one movie… if they handle the story properly.
I’d love to see Y: The Last Man finally make it to the big screen, but who do you think would make the best Yorick?
