Depending on where you are, it’s either Christmas, or it will be in a couple of hours. Either way, we’ve got a little something to stuff into your stocking. FOX has just released the first trailer for Alien: Covenant starring Michael Fassbender. We still don’t know a ton about the film’s story, other than the fact that it takes place around ten years after the events of Prometheus. While Noomi Rapace will play some role in it, we know that it is only Fassbender’s android character that will be returning with a significant role from Prometheus.
My first thoughts on the new trailer? This is what an Aliens film should feel like. It’s dark. It looks scary as hell. And it looks like it’s going to kill shower sex for just about anyone who sees this film.
Along with Fassbender and Rapace, the Alien: Covenant also stars: Katherine Waterston, James Franco,
Guy Pearce, Billy Crudup, Carmen Ejogo, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, and Callie Hernandez.
The crew of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think is an uncharted paradise, but it is actually a dark, dangerous world, whose sole inhabitant is the synthetic David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
