Slated to be one of next year’s big summer movies, check out these new posters of Disney’s ‘Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’ featuring Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton — who are still not looking very Persian-y.
The movie is based on the popular video game series with a similar name and sees Gyllenhaal as the ‘rogue prince’ Dastan and Gemma Arterton as ‘mysterious princess’ Tamina, who reluctantly team up to safeguard an ancient dagger that could release the Sands of Time, allowing its possessor to reverse time and rule the world.
‘Sand of Time’ will also star Sir Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina. Directed by Mike Newell, and is expected to debut May 28, 2010.
