Geek God and savior Joss Whedon and “Super Size Me” director Morgan Spurlock are teaming up to produce a documentary about the lives of yet-to-be-announced superfans attending this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
According to E! Online, “They want to follow people for about three months leading up to this year’s Comic-Con.
And then they want to film them there. They’re looking at all types of people.”
This project sounds a bit similar to Spurlock’s last project which also took place at SDCC, when he interviewed Simpsons superfans for a documentary celebrating the show’s 20th anniversary.
While Whedon and Spurlock have not made any comments regarding this story, it’s said that they are currently auditioning possible superfans to be filmed
