We can all sleep a bit more soundly now. Aflac has found the new man who will provide the voice of their duck.
The honor goes to Dan McKeague, a sales manager from Minneapolis, who received a personal phone call from Aflac CEO Dan Amos informing him that he had been chosen from a pool of over 12,500 hopefuls.
McKeague will replace the former duck voiced by Gilbert Gottfried who was terminated after making inappropriate remarks on Twitter about the Japanese quake and tsunami disaster.
McKeague will debut tonight at 9PM EST during the premiere of NBC’s “The Voice.” You can get a sneak peak of his newly minted talent below in this video.
