Pencil sculpting is nothing new. We’ve seen, and even posted about artists who can carve a character into the tip of a pencil, but none of them are creating works of art like Cindy Chinn.
The sculptures, which she sells for anywhere from 200-800 dollars a piece require an amazing amount of skill. To create each one, she hand carves the graphite from a pencil with the assistance of both a magnifying glass and a trinocular microscope.
