Gallery 1988’s Luke Flowers and Glen Brogan “DOWN TIME” Exhibition

Yesterday, we showed you some highlights from Gallery 1988’s Crazy 4 Cult 11 show that is currently on display at their Gallery on Melrose in Los Angeles. Because it’s a holiday week, we thought it would be a nice time to give a little extra love to 1988 by featuring one of their current or recent exhibitions each day.

Today we’ll be checking out Gallery 1988’s Luke Flowers and Glen Brogan “DOWN TIME” Exhibition. The new show asks and answers the question of what games and chores do classic movie and comic characters play and do to pass the time when they aren’t busy trying to save or destroy the world. Some of the movies, shows, comics, and games featured in the new show include: Star Wars, Street Fighter, Gremlins, Ghostbusters, TMNT, X-Men, Peewee’s Playhouse, Metroid, Garfield, Sesame Street and others.

Sadly, the show ended on November 18th, but you can check out most of the images below. To buy some prints from the show, you can check out Gallery 1988’s HERE.
