Gucci Goes Geek For New Campaign For Fall Winter 2017 Collection

If there was one company that you’d never expect to see dipping their toe into the geeky side of the pool it would be Gucci. Well, think again, because their new campaign draws inspiration out of everything from Star Trek, to Dinosaurs, and even Universal Monsters.

In a new video for their “Gucci Fall Winter 2017” collection, director Glen Luchford, Art director Christopher Simmonds, and collection designer Alessandro Michele have turned to sci fi from the 1950’s and 60’s for inspiration. Who could have ever imagined that Kirk’s Captain’s chair would one day end up in a Gucci ad?
