My first job after college was to help the US government convince people to stop putting their tomatoes in the refrigerator. To call it soul-sucking would be an understatement. When I was there long enough that I was allowed to hang something on the walls of my office, I framed the blueprints of Arkham Asylum that came with the bagged copy of Batman: Shadow Of The Bat #1. Hanging an asylum for the criminally insane on my wall made sense when I looked out at the people I was worked with. Thankfully, no one ever looked close enough to realize that’s what it was.
While the art of DrawHouse isn’t quite as dark as that, they’ve created a series of very cool and fun prints that layout the floorplans and blueprints of the most popular television shows of the last 30 years. If you’ve ever wondered what the layout was in the apartments from shows like Friends, Seinfeld, Big Bang Theory, or Two Broke Girls, now is your chance. You can also check out the floor plans for popular TV businesses like Central Perk and The Office’s Dunder Mifflin. Check out some of the pics below and then head over to the DrawHouse Etsy Store to grab some to put on your wall.
