Using just moss, tiny figurines and a collection of old compact mirrors, coin purses, and other stuff she finds in her daily life, Australian artist Kendal Murray has created some really neat magical worlds.
Her work ranges from the humorous, to dramatic, and even a little bit towards the romantic. The scenes she creates take you away from your cubical and your computer to a world apart.
Here’s what she says about her art:
“The idea of creating these miniature works came from dream states and how we are able to play with our own identity, to play with different roles we take on in our dream state. So the miniature works serve as a metaphor for intuitive thoughts.”
