According to ongoing FBI investigations, the authenticity of the leaked Scarlett Johansson nude photos have been confirmed. The photos of “The Avengers” star are real! Likewise, Johansson and her team have also not been denying that the nude photos leaked on the web are in fact of her.

Instead, Johansson is trying to have her lawyer Marty Singer remove the photos from the web as quickly as possible.

Singer has been sending letters to websites that are running the photos stating that the images are “stolen copyright protected private photographs” and followed with a stern if not threatening warning that legal actions will probably be taken:

“If you fail to comply, you will be acting at your own peril. Please govern yourselves accordingly.”

No one hacker group has taken credit for releasing the images – one of the actress’ bare backside and another of her topless. But FBI has been investigating a group that has targeted celebrities, and boasts of hacking into 50 Hollywood heavyweights’ computers and cell phones.

Other celebrities that have reportedly been hacked include Jessica Alba, Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus. All the victims are female.

According to a report by TMZ, the FBI is “honing in” on the group of hackers and know the identity of at least one of them, possible the ringleader.
