3D printing has changed a lot of things in the world, but there are very few sectors that have been as positively effected as the world of prosthetics.

The Prosthetic company Open Bionics, has now partnered with Disney to created an awesome line of robotic hands that not only help remove the stigma some children feel about having a prosthetic, but makes them look and feel like superheroes.

The partnership comes through Disney’s Techstars’ Accelorator program, meaning that there will be no licensing costs for any of the Disney designs, which will help keep costs reasonable. The first three variations that have been announced are based on Iron Man, Frozen, and Star Wars.

Along with being fully functional, they also feature LED lights for added effect!
