There isn’t a kid in the world who grew up with Star Wars and didn’t dream of riding across the hot sands of Tatooine in their own Landspeeder. Now, Radio Flyer and Lucas have teamed up to make dreams come true with their new kid-sized landspeeder.
A far cry from Radio Flyer’s classic red wagon, the landspeeder is an electric vehicle that is completely steerable and can seat up to two children. It has a top speed of 5MPH in forward gear and 2MPH in reverse. The speeder also has a max capacity of 130 lbs. All this for only $500. That’s still $1,500 less than Sideshow’s life-sized R2 statue, and you can’t drive that one down the street!
Fans were lucky enough to see the new Speeder out on the floor at SDCC:
