Tani, a biologist major-turned childcare specialist, was inspired one day by some spare change he saw laying around. The rest is history. OK, it’s not really history, but it is the coolest bit of coin stacking you’ll see today.
For the most part, Tani sticks to 1 and 5 yen coins, but he’ll occasionally also use some foreign currency as well. The result of his stacking are a series of architectural wonders that are not only quite fetching, but also seem to defy gravity.
