THR is reporting that Activision is doing their damnedest to squeeze every last penny out of their hit video game franchise, Guitar Hero. The new plan is to launch a reality TV show and possibly a live concert tour based on the game.
Activision’s cross-platform interests don’t end at “Hero” either; discussions are under way to turn the “World of Warcraft” and “Call of Duty” video games into movies.
In other news, the world has run out of new ideas and they don’t even want to showcase people with real abilities any more. They would rather focus their energy on people playing games that emulate real abilities. What’s next? a line of porno movies that just show to people on a split screen having cyber sex with each other?
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
