Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC could best be described as the little engine that could of the Marvel Universe. After struggling out of the gate to maintain cohesion with the rest of the MCU, the series eventually said screw it and found its voice by going its own way. Now, the seventh and final season is on the horizon and series star Chloe Bennet is offering up a great little tease about what we can expect. Here’s what she had to say in a new interview with DigitalSpy.
“I can say we are back in time, so we have to get… the whole goal is to get back to where we were. So that means traveling through a bunch of different time periods and who knows who we see on the way back, if we even get back. It’s actually one of the most… season 4 and season 7 are definitely my favorite seasons of SHIELD.”
While specific details are under wraps, we do know that Peggy Carter (Haley Atwell) will be popping up and we are sure that a few other familiar faces from both the series and the cinematic universe will probably appear as the show makes its farewell tour.
