Alan Tudyk Joins DC’s ‘Doom Patrol’ Series

Serenity/ Tucker and Dale vs Evil/ Wreck-It Ralph star Alan Tudyk is getting ready to make his second foray into the TV side of the DC Universe. His first DC TV appearance was as part of the ill-fated NBC sitcom, Powerless. Now he’ll be heading over to DC’s new streaming network to take on the mantle of villain against the Doom Patrol.

Tudyk is no stranger to playing the baddie, despite his fame for playing the lovable Wash on Firefly and Serenity. He also played the bad guy, King Candy, in Wreck-It Ralph. This time he’ll be playing Mr. Nobody, a man with the power to drain the sanity from his foes. He joins a cast that includes Brendan Fraser as Robotman, April Bowlby as Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, and the yet-to-be-cast Negative Man.
