First there was Angry Birds, then there was Angry Birds Rio, then there was Angry Birds Space. Now, space isn’t enough, Rovio is taking their top selling video game franchise to a galaxy far, far away with the newest edition of the game, Angry Birds Star Wars.
The game is set to drop on iOS, Android, and Windows 8 PCs on November 8th. It will have the same physics as the current Angry Birds Space game, but the characters will be dressed up as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and the other rebel forces. The pigs will be donning the costumes of Darth Vader, storm troopers, and the Empire.
Rovio says that there will be other tweaks to settings and music as well.
Additionally, merchandise for the new game will start hitting shelves the week before the game comes out.
