Will Ms. Marvel Be In The Avengers Sequel?

That is the question that everyone is asking after this bit of info was dropped in the UK Daily Mail.

“British actresses Emily Blunt and Ruth Wilson are head-to-head in a race for the most sought-after new female role in Hollywood. Emily, star of The Young Victoria, and Ruth, from TV’s Luther, are both hotly tipped to play superhero Ms Marvel in Avengers 2, the sequel to Avengers Assemble.”

At this point, nothing has been confirmed or denied by the studio, but it is pretty interesting that a British newspaper would be throwing around specific character names if there was truly nothing behind it.
