It’s starting to sound more and more like Quentin Tarantino might have written a check his ass won’t be able to cash when it comes to his promise to only make 10 films. His 9th film is about to hit with Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and he’s circling around directing his own Star Trek Script as we speak. Now there’s word that all the right people are talking about making a third Kill Bill movie.
Here’s what Tarantino just said on the latest Happy Sad Podcast with Josh Horowitz about his recent discussions on the subject with Uma Thurman:
“Me and Uma have talked about it recently, frankly, to tell you the truth. I have thought about it a little further. We were talking about it literally last week. If any of my movies were going to spring from my other movies, it would be a third Kill Bill.”
There have been rumors about a third Kill Bill movie going all the way back to when the first one came out in 2003. I remember all the way back then, there was talk of a sequel revolving around Uma Thurman’s character’s daughter on her own quest for revenge. That was long enough ago that we are actually getting close to the time period where it would make sense to do it.
