In just under 48 hours, I’ll be watching Avengers: Endgame. We’ve already seen a slew of very positive first impressions from people who attended the world premiere last night on social media. Now we are getting the first official reviews and the Rotten Tomatoes score as the official review embargo has lifted in the last hour.
With the first tally of 56 professional reviews in their database, Rottentomatoes has scored Avengers Endgame at a 98%. The one reviewer who has currently labeled the film as “rotten” when on to say this in his review:
[T]he entire endeavour loses any sense of emotional stakes or general meaning beyond the deliverance of crass fan-service and incomprehensible visuals.
In the end, we will each take our own opinions away at the end of Avengers: Endgame. No review ever guarantees a film will be a great or horrible viewing experience. That said, I’ve got a feeling that this one is going to be pretty amazing.
