are nervously excited about the third Bill and Ted film, Bill and Ted Face The Music. All of us are hoping that we are in for a truly excellent adventure, but we are all a little worried about a decidedly heinous outcome. The good news is that the original creative team is behind the wheel on the film and the movie’s director is the same guy who directed Galaxy Quest. Besides, it’s hard to imagine Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter coming back for a sequel they didn’t believe in completely.
Today, a new interview came out with the film’s director, Dean Parisot. In it, he lays out just what is at stake for the Wyld Stallyons, who have yet to actually live up to their potential and now have kids nearly the age they were when they first went on their own Excellent Adventure.
“We’ve gone from a homework assignment to saving all space and time. We bypassed all those possible traumas in the middle,” director Dean Parisot tells Empire in the new issue. “They have an hour and 18 minutes. So they’re in trouble. And let’s say that they have to travel all over the place to try and figure it out.”
