We saw some paparazzi pics for Bill & Ted Face the Music when the threequel to Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey was filming over the summer. Now, EW is dropping new info on the film as well as the movie’s first official pics. Here’s how EW described the new movie:
“This third Bill & Ted film (out Aug. 21) finds Winter’s Bill S. Preston Esq. and Reeves’ Ted Theodore Logan III still trying to create music for their band, Wyld Stallyns, which they learned back in 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure will inspire the utopian society of the future. “They were told when they were teenagers that they were going to save reality, and they’ve been working on it the whole time,” says Matheson. “Now an emissary from the future comes and says, ‘You’ve got to do it right now. We’ve got literally 80 minutes or all of reality will come to an end.’”
Joining Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter on this new excellent adventure are their daughters, Thea (Samara Weaving), Bill’s daughter, and Billie (Brigette Lundy-Paine), Ted’s daughter. Beck Bennett is onboard as the grown-up version of Ted’s little brother Deacon and William Sadler is even coming back to reprise his role as the Grim Reaper. Kid Cudi will also be joining the cast as himself. According to the report, Cudi “gets mysteriously thrown around through various times, because all time and space is coming unglued.”
