Diageo Ireland is launching a new Budweiser campaign featuring a cover version of the Beatles’ 1969 track, ‘All Together Now’.
The ad, by DDB London, is shot from a moving train carriage in Chicago and shows people spelling out the words ‘All together now’ in time to the music, sung by The Hours, who are currently supporting U2 on tour.
According to Garbhan O’Bric, head of marketing communications at Diageo Ireland, “In this day and age, it’s critical that brands entertain and capture people’s imagination. This campaign is about Budweiser getting back to its roots; a timeless brand truth, simply told in a timely way.”
All in all, it’s a nice spot and interesting to watch, even if it has absolutely NOTHING to do with Budwiser and beer. I mean, really absolutely nothing at all…
