If you’ve seen the big spoiler that has been leaked from the end of The Avengers than you know that there’s at least one character introduction in the scene. What we didn’t know (until now) is who exactly the people were on screen. Now we know and the actors in question are Alexis Denisoff and Damion Poitier.
Whedon fans should not really be that surprised. After all, he’s another Whedon Alum and if there’s one thing that Joss Whedon loves to do it is to use the same people over and over again. We won’t tell you exactly what the characters are that they are playing just in case you don’t already know (though it is already posted on the IMDB page for the film).
Denisoff has most recently been seen with real life wife and former Buffy/Angel Co-Star Alyson Hannigan on How I met Your Mother, but Buffy fans will always know him as Wesley Wyndam-Pryce.
Along with roles in films like Jarhead and the 2009 Star Trek reboot, he has also had small roles in Whedon’s Firefly and Dollhouse.
