Charlize Theron is pretty damned awesome no matter what she’s doing. She throws herself fully into every role she does, and even when the movie sucks, she’s usually still pretty outstanding. She’s done everything from turn herself ugly in ‘Monster’ to actually break her back for ‘Eon Flux’. Now it looks like she’s just left the cast of Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar Hoover movie and may take over the lead role in the new Aliens Prequel. Details are sparse at the moment, but here’s what we know via Nymag.

despite the fact that Ridley Scott is still adamant that Noomi Rapace — who recently played Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish-language Girl With the Dragon Tattoo trilogy — will be playing the main character in the film, Elizabeth Shaw. Fox has something different in mind.
